A set of utilities to communicate with IrDA devices over an IrDA port
on a serial line.
Covers IrComm for connecting via PPP over cell phones
as well as several utilities to exchange data with PDAs.

These programs were written by Tommy Bohlin <tommy@gatespace.com>.
The port is more or less directly copied from Lennart Augustsson's
<lennart@augustsson.net> NetBSD port.

[patch] comms/birda unexpire

        PR 88049 marked comms/birda as deprecated because the old
        distfile is no longer available on NetBSD's ftp server.
        This is because they now ship birda-1.1

        This patch updates the port to 1.1, unbreaking birda.  I
        use this port routinely and would hate to see it gone.

        I would be happy to be maintainer of birda if current
        maintainer has no interest maintaining it.

Remove stdio buffering even when not on a tty or pty: this prevents
use of ircomm from a "set device" in ppp(8).
