- Set --mandir and --infodir in CONFIGURE_ARGS if the configure script
  supports them.  This is determined by running ``configure --help'' in
  do-configure target and set the shell variable _LATE_CONFIGURE_ARGS
  which is then passed to CONFIGURE_ARGS.
- Remove --mandir and --infodir in ports' Makefile where applicable
  Few ports use REINPLACE_CMD to achieve the same effect, remove them too.
- Correct some manual pages location from PREFIX/man to MANPREFIX/man
- Define INFO_PATH where necessary
- Document that .info files are installed in a subdirectory relative to
  PREFIX/INFO_PATH and slightly change add-plist-info to use INFO_PATH and
  subdirectory detection.

Mass-conversion to the USE_AUTOTOOLS New World Order.  The code present
in bsd.autotools.mk essentially makes this a no-op given that all the
old variables set a USE_AUTOTOOLS_COMPAT variable, which is parsed in
exactly the same way as USE_AUTOTOOLS itself.

Moreover, USE_AUTOTOOLS has already been extensively tested by the GNOME
team -- all GNOME 2.12.x ports use it.

which is in the process of being SGMLized before introduction into the
Porters Handbook.

Upgrade xemacs-devel to 21.5.b21 "corn" by following upgrade of
xemacs-devel-mule.
Rename patch-ak to patch-unexelf.c after realigning. Changes in patch-ai
were merged.

Add CONFLICTS variable, since this port conflicts with other
emacs/xemacs ports.

Generalize a part of patch-ak to all _LP64 archs. An __alpha__ check is
still needed as cpp on 4-STABLE does not define _LP64 on alpha.
This makes xemacs-devel build sparc64, so remove NOT_FOR_ARCHS. Hopefully
this also fixes things on ia64 (failure there reported by kris).

Remove additional CONFIGURE_ARGS for amd64 added in rev. 1.78. They don't
seem to be necessary any more. This should make plist on amd64 correct
again so unmark BROKEN there.

Fix plist. I erroneously removed ridiculously large amount in previous
commit. That is partly reverted and some further corrections are made.
Make package create lib/xemacs/site-modules directory as port does.
Bump revision to get proper package made.

Upgrade to 21.5 beta20 "cilantro" with help from xemacs-devel-mule upgrade
by Andrey Slusar. The same patch-configure.ac is used. Changes in patches
patch-mem-limits.h and patch-emacs.c are solved, but a bit differently in
source so remove them. Autoconf 2.59 is changed which changes a few
configure options names.

Remove XAWVER from Xaw3d LIB_DEPENDS re. Xaw3d will be depended upon just
fine without explicit version in there, while specifying it can
occasionally confuse (cf. ports/78527). Packages depend on specific
versions of Xaw3d and X libraries anyway and ports will get the right
version number through imake.

At Kris's request, back out the MACHINE_ARCH spelling correction until
after 5.4-RELEASE.

Assist getting more ports working on AMD64 by obeying the
Ports Collection documentation and use 'ARCH' rather than 'MACHINE_ARCH'.

It turns out that Andrey Slusar only wants to maintain the xemacs-mule

The patches patch-emacs.c and patch-mem-limits.h are no longer needed
because lim_data has been changed from an unsigned int to an unsigned
long, which should be big enough on all architectures which we support.

Make Andrey Slusar <anray AT inet DOT ua> the maintainer, since he kindly
offered to take over this port from me.

Also fix this ones Makefile by moving the test for libXm.so more up.

Xemacs seems to be generally broken on sparc64. Add NOT_FOR_ARCHS=sparc64
to the Makefile.

Upgrade to version 21.5.15.
Fix the version number to eliminate the hyphen as requested in PR
ports/56958. Note that this does not close the PR since there are
other problematical ports listed in it.

Make portlint(1) happy by changing strip to ${STRIP_CMD}

Note that this port is now mis-named - 21.4 is the stable branch and 21.5
is the development branch. 21.1 (in xemacs21) is now "historical".

xemacs21 and xemacs-devel: add a LIB_DEPENDS on compface.1 so that
the mail/faces port cannot be accidentally deleted if xemacs uses it.

xemacs-devel: Add nonas,noeds to the --with-sound line because xemacs-devel
barfs when trying to use our sounds/nas port. Noticed while testing the
fix for the PR.

First round of auto* cleanups:    - USE_AUTO* -> USE_AUTO*_VER=* where required 
  - USE_AUTO* / *_DEPENDS=.*auto*:*/devel/auto* -> GNU_CONFIGURE where OK    -
Other minor changes to fix things    

Add ``--with-ldap=no'' to the CONFIGURE_ARGS to avoid missing a dependency   in
case the user has LDAP installed. This is one of those things which   are
automatically detected at configure time.    

Update to 21.4.5. The problem with a Lisp error occuring when the user   does a
font change in the Options menu seems to be fixed, although no   change actually
seems to result.    

Use ${WRKDIR} instead of /tmp for the temporary output from sed because   it's
just generally a better idea. Why didn't I think of that ?    

Put tmp_zot (output from sed) into /tmp in case /usr/ports is mounted   read
only.
