The PEAR's Mail:: interface, defines the interface for implementing mailers
under the PEAR hierarchy, and provides supporting functions useful in multiple
mailer backends.

Currently supported are native PHP mail() function, sendmail and SMTP.
This package also provides a RFC 822 Email address list validation utility
class.

At the moment 1385 ports use BUILD_DEPENDS= ${RUN_DEPENDS} and 450
ports use BUILD_DEPENDS:= ${RUN_DEPENDS}. This patch fixes ports that are
currently broken. This is a temporary measure until we organically stop using
:= or someone(s) spend a lot of time changing all the ports over.

Explicit duplication > := > = and this just moves ports one step to the left

[PATCH] simplify pear-* ports

        These patches do the following things for PEAR ports:

        * devel-pear-PEAR-Makefile.common.patch
            - provides a do-install target and all that jazz in
              devel/pear-PEAR/Makefile.common
            - individual PEAR ports now just set a few variables:
        * pear-ports-Makefile.common-ng.patch
            contains changes for all pear-* ports including devel/pear-PEAR
