On a reason I don't know a version of ruby18_static is shown as 1.8.2. But it should the same as for ruby18 port.

http://www.freshports.org/lang/ruby18_static/ (1.8.2,1) is a slave port of http://www.freshports.org/lang/ruby16_static/ (1.6.8.2004.07.28_1).

http://www.freshports.org/lang/ruby18/ (1.8.4_9,1) is not related to either port (in terms of a master/slave relationship).

The following demonstrates that the website is showing the wrong results for ruby18_static:

$ cd /usr/ports/lang/ruby18_static
$ make -V PORTVERSION -V PORTREVISION -V PORTEPOCH
1.8.4
0
1

Do you agree that ruby18_static should be 1.8.4,1?

OK. I see the problem with the port. I'll try fix it.
