I really love almost everything about FP2, with one exception. The old FP main page view was fairly compact, allowing one to scroll through and check out the latest updates (to everything) fairly quickly. With the inclusion of the short desription as well as commit comments, such a quick glance is not possible as very few ports fit into the field of view (6, to be exact, in a 1600x1200 maximized window). I love the addition of the short description, although an option to not display the commit comments (or to shorten them a little bit) on the front page would be awesome. If I am interested in the port I can always click on it and see exactly what changes were made. For me, being able to see at a glance what ports were updated is preferable to seeing exactly what was changed on every port. I've done a before and after and posted the pages at the link below:

The new short version (no commit comments) fits a full 17 ports into the same field of view while reducing the page size by 17%. The new medium version fits 9 ports into the field of view while retaining the actual commit comment -- only the PR: and <something>by: lines have been removed. This version reduces page size by 9%. There may also be performance benefits from the database side, as these could reduce the number of queries necessary to create the page.
Having a option like this would greatly improve the usability of the main page (for me). Thanks for all the great work!
