I thought of a new feature today. It will be used to prevent users from updating the database during maintenance periods.
The areas which will be disabled will be:
- new user registration
- customization (customize.php)
- watch list maintenance (pkg_upload.php)
- watch list categories (watch-categories.php and port-watch.php)
- one click watch list add/remove (watch-list.php)
- report subscriptions (report-subscriptions.php)
- marking of commits as security related (any cat/port page)
