 Replacing the home page

I am considering moving the home page content to commits.php. The home page would then contain only the last ten commits.

cperciva suggested: "only display the latest 10 commits on ports to which they're subscribed?" That sounds good to me. If you're watching ports, perhaps you only want to see the commits related to your watched ports.

Ideas? Suggestions?
