Hi, I'm regularly using the "new 7 days" page to see what's new and acquaint myself with new and interesting software packages.
Is it possible to export the list of newly-added ports as RSS? The current RSS feed lists all commits, for new and existing ports alike. It also lists the commit message, and I'd really prefer (for the new list) for it to be the short description.

That seems to still list all CVS commits.
What I want is just the initial commits of ports who were not there beforehand. But not fixes or upgrades to existing ports.

Please show me why you think that.

Yes, I understand. Please demonstrate how < http://www.freshports.org/rss/ports-new.php> is not doing that.

On closer examination I see that you are correct. I must have looked at /news.php. Pass the pointy hat.
/rss/ports-new.php is just what I was looking for. Thanks!
