The "Maintained by" field, which describes who provides updates for the port, has been altered to provide better information if there is no maintainer.
The MAINTAINER attributed of a port indicates the email address of the maintainer. Ports without a maintainer traditionally set this field to ports@FreeBSD.org. FreshPorts now displays the following for such ports:

There is no maintainer for this port.
Any concerns regarding this port should be directed to the FreeBSD Ports mailing list via ports@FreeBSD.org
