Sync'd my ports tree and followed that with a portsdb -Uu this morning. Haven't upgraded any ports yet due to a stale dependency issue.
My question concerns my watch list. I updated my watch list with a new mypkg_info.txt file but the list only contained 96 ports this morning. I ran "wc -l mypkg_info.txt" and got 266 lines which corresponds to the number of ports I have. This evening I updated my watch list again, using the same mypkg_info file and now have 185 ports shown on my watch list. Should the number of ports on my watch list match the number on my system? If so, can you give me an idea what I'm doing wrong?
Thank you.

Made another attempt to upgrade my watch list again and received 266 ports this time. The only difference was that I neglected to input the file name, mypkg_info.txt, before uploading.

Yes, the number of ports on your watch lists should match this:
# pkg_info | wc -l
228

Just want to report that I haven't experienced this problem since my original postings and also thank you for your assistance.
