I tried compilling ettercap-NG-0.7.0 on 5.2.1-RELEASE-p9 and I've had some problems:

# ./configure --prefix=/usr/local --with-libpcap=/usr/local --with-libnet=/usr/local --with-openssl=/usr/local --with-libncurses=/usr --with-libpcre=/usr/local --enable-plugins --enable-gtk --with-iconv=/usr/include/sys && make
.....
etterlog-ec_passive.o etterlog-ec_strings.o etterlog-ec_format.o -pthread -lz -L/usr/include/sys/ -liconv
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -liconv
*** Error code 1

# ls -l /usr/include/sys/iconv.h
-r--r--r-- 1 root wheel 8307 Feb 17 21:10 /usr/include/sys/iconv.h
I also tried with: --with-iconv=/usr/local/include (same result)

Any ideeas/suggestions ?
