What I'm trying to get is some way to choose one over another. Is there a way of doing that?

I just copied what sourceforge does because I find what they do very handy. Just on the off-chance that other people may know more than I do.

What difference does it make how I get the software? CVSUP or some other way. Surely you can count either way.
