this is mainly a BUGFIX Release

NEW FEATURES
        - some ijs driver scripts got more differentiation

DOCUMENTATION
        - wrong manual reference in apsfilter manpage, changed from
          smbprint(1) to smbclient(1)
        - apsfilter handbook got a path fix and cosmetic changes
        - support for ijs 1.1 and later (prior 1.0 and later)
BUG FIXES
        - driver/stp/escp2-440
        - set traditional umask in SETUP (022) just for the case
somebodies root account has strange default settings not
to end up with screwed permissions, that make printing

CODE IMPROVEMENTS

I recommend you to upgrade to this new version

the fix has been taken from other source but PR should be resolved
  b) printing to a remote windows printer via samba is fixed

* other changes
- new gimp-print driver / ijsgimpprint
- add new pretty command to set text-to-PostScript highlight level
- fix "remote copies" parameter to lpr
- clean up template apsfilterrc
* FreeBSD/port related things:

Update port dependency, if defined APSFILTER_ALL The interactive script will
be updated later. Don't bump port revision, since next following commit will
contain new apsfilter release, that is now in the queue, before I finished
polishing interactive installartion. But I didn't want to mix this change and
the new apsfilter version in one commit.

update to apsfilter 7.1.0 - new design: use GNU configure alike script
(without the bloat) for creating different files (scripts, manpages,
handbook, Makefile). now paths are 100% matching. - create portable
Makefile across various platforms - manpage update, supported file types,
commandline options (lpr -C/-Z), docu fixes - some fixes in driver
(hl1250, bjc600/800)

Unluckily FreeBSD's shell isn't able to read from/write to /dev/stdin and
stdout. Therefore we have to use bash as shell for /usr/local/bin/aps2file
program. Arrange things with patch and pre-configure command, so that this
port stays prefix-clean. The patch inserts !!PREFIX!!/bin/bash and configure
configures in the current PREFIX settings. I'd whish somebody could fix our
shell to remove the dependency from bash.

New apsfilter version 7.0.1 - patch-SETUP is included in 7.0.1 (we don't
provide insane defaults anymore) - support for HPIJS V 1.0 ("IJS" driver) -
still supporting old HPIJS driver ("HPIJS" driver) - some more sanity checks
in SETUP (check is print device is character special) - added bjc800 driver
script, since it differs to bjc600 printer - format of MAPFILE documented -
handbook has been updated - compatible to 7.0.0 version, so old entries and
spooldirs should work after upgrade has been made

update apsfilter to new version 7.0, here a short summary, see ANNOUNCE and
ChangeLog for a complete list: - supports fully ghostscript7 - enhanced
driver support, hpijs, pips, latest gimp-print, etc ... - per driver scripts,
where printer manufacturer *could* place their driver/scripts, the case
structure wasn't scaleable anymore an led to incomplete support or to large
apsfilter script - unified command-line options, see handbook - support for
HARDWARE_COPIES if your printer can print multiple copies himself - option
settings can be restricted by the administrator for all printer or print
queues (maybe to save print costs on color printers ...) - support for many
new filetypes - print contens of archives: tar, cpio, ar, zip, zoo ... -
security: update for duplex print keys - separate faq has gone, everything is
in the handbook - error messages can be sent to user now via Cc: - no bugs
so far ;-)

update from apsfilter 6.1.0 to 6.1.1 - a duplex printing password fix turned
out incompatibility of BSD od(1) to other flavours of od(1). - apsfilter
6.1.1 contains the duplex password fix + a substitution of od(1) with
hexdump which also seems to be available on Linux and Solaris. - no
PORTREVISION dump since we have a new release - added pkg-message file for
easier handling and addition of notification to apsfilter *package* had
to change configure script and Makefile to follow that new infrastructure.
- troff notification in dependency to FreeBSD version

[ 15:54 andreas ]
flowscan 1.006_7 net  Deleted files touched by this commit Processes IP flows recorded in cflowd-format raw flow files
- bump portrevision because important features were added to port to make it
more functional and userfriendly - added cflowd's startup script to FILESDIR,
add startup options to it, that are only valid for the patched cflowd. So
later we overwrite the sample startup script of "stock" cflowd. This is
done this way, because cflowd also can be used without flowscan. But *if* we
use cflowd with flowscan, we have to manage things to work with flowscan.
- install sample Makefile to graphs directory, so you can generate graphs
more easily as being described in the docu (see INSTALL) - Added comments to
pkg-message file, that this Makefile has to be updated whenever you add or
remove protocol types in ${PREFIX}/var/db/flows/bin/CampusIO.cf - comment
post-install section more.. - keep_me file could be removed, since we install
the sample Makefile now in the graphs subdir

flowscan 1.006_7 net  Deleted files touched by this commit Processes IP flows recorded in cflowd-format raw flow files
- additional important port changes - modify sample startup script - run in
background properly - use variables for progs (grep, perl, kill, ...) -
style (use $var consistently, spaces after io redirection) - install startup
script as cflowd-flowscan.sh.sample to get an order, cflowd ports startup
script will be named cflowd-base.sh.sample, so that cflowd will be started
first.
[ 11:48 andreas ]
flowscan 1.006_7 net  Deleted files touched by this commit Processes IP flows recorded in cflowd-format raw flow files
- completely new functionalities, so bumped port revision this was overdue,
since this complex port needs more docu, explanation, preparation, etc ...
- installation directory moved from ${PREFIX}/var/flows to
${PREFIX}/var/db/flows to match our typical /var filesystem layout, but
since I want to package this port, I don't want to write into
/var/filesystem its up to the user, to move the data around later if he has
a large /var and likes the data to reside there. - create needed
directories in ${PREFIX}/var/db/flows (bin and graphs) use a .keep_me file,
so that things are packaged properly - install needed documentation the
INSTALL file is essential as well as the various example file. NOPORTDOCS
only covers unneeded files, which are not crucial for installation - the
${PREFIX}/var/db/flows/bin directory carries the sample files for the
flowscan script. Therefore those sample files reside there. Other sample
files like the crontab settings are up to the user, so they reside in
${PREFIX}/share/doc/flowscan - install a sample rc file in ${PREFIX}/etc/rc.d,
its deactivated, since this is a port that needs thinking and handcrafting
config files before use... - added a pkg-message file, that explains
pre-requisites (cisco configuration) and other post installation tasks as
well as a BIG WARNING, that enabling Netflow Switching and Netflow Data
Export on your Cisco CORE or DISTRIBUTION routers might affect the routers
switching performance. You should know IF you need to do it and if its o.k.
IF you enable it. - output pkg-message on port based installation as well
since the warnings are important. - updated PLIST

cflowd 2.1.b1_8 net  Deleted files touched by this commit Flow analysis tool used for analyzing Cisco's NetFlow switching
Add a start stop script to the port which starts up services delayed so that
every service has a chance to come up properly before the next one begins
Additionally provide graceful delayed shutdown of services by using killall

not easy ports. You should read the docu properly.
