Notes

  • Case sensitivity is ignored for "sounds like" and output is ordered by the soundex.
  • When searching on 'Message ID', the type of match is ignored.
  • When searching on 'Commit Message' only 'containing' is used.
  • When searching by 'Under a pathname', your path must start with something like /ports/, /doc/, or /src/. All commits under that point will be returned. The selected match type is ignored and defaults to 'Starts with'.

spiped 1.4.0 sysutils files touched by this commit Daemon for creating secure symmetric pipes
Update to spiped 1.4.0. Ask for a C11 compiler, despite only needing a C99
compiler, in an attempt to make sure that on x86 systems we have a compiler
with support for AESNI.

ec2-scripts 1.9 sysutils files touched by this commit Startup scripts for FreeBSD/EC2 environment
Update to 1.9. This fixes a bug in ec2_ephemeralswap where the amount of
ephemeral storage on an EC2 instance is less than the amount of swap space
we want to autoconfigure. (In particular, the m3.medium instance type has
4 GB of attached SSD storage but 3.75 GB of RAM, which results in a desired
7.5 GB of swap space.)

ec2-scripts 1.8 sysutils files touched by this commit Startup scripts for FreeBSD/EC2 environment
Update to 1.8. The ec2_fetchkey rc.d script now creates the user
specified in the $ec2_fetchkey_user variable, so that it can be
(usefully) specified via user-data at EC2 instance launch time.

firstboot-pkgs 1.3 sysutils files touched by this commit Install packages when the system first boots
pkg uses "is stdin a terminal?" to decide if it's running interactively
and thereby whether it should display a progress bar during downloads.
While rc.d scripts have a terminal attached, for the common case of
unattended installation of servers, this script is not being used
interactively; so redirect stdin from /dev/null to silence the progress
bars and reduce console spew.

The -q option could be used to accomplish this, but that would also
eliminate other more useful information, such as the names and versions
of packages being installed.

firstboot-pkgs 1.2 sysutils files touched by this commit Install packages when the system first boots
Fix dumb typo: Need to check if the number of rc.d scripts has changed
between pre-package-installation and post-package-installation, not
between pre- and pre-.
[ 05:46 cperciva ] Original commit
ec2-scripts 1.7 sysutils files touched by this commit Startup scripts for FreeBSD/EC2 environment
Update ec2-scripts to 1.7:
* Add support for system configuration via ec2 user-data.
* Add support for allocating swap space from ephemeral disks with EC2
(linux) device names of "xvd[a-j]" rather than just "sd[a-j]".

firstboot-pkgs 1.1 sysutils files touched by this commit Install packages when the system first boots
If firstboot_pkgs installs a package which contains an rc.d script,
request a reboot so that any newly-installed daemons will be launched.

[ 00:17 cperciva ] Original commit
firstboot-pkgs 1.0 sysutils files touched by this commit Install packages when the system first boots
Add firstboot-pkgs:

When the system first boots, install the pkg(8) tools (if not already
installed) and packages listed in the $firstboot_pkgs_list rc.conf
variable.

Obviously, this port is not useful after a system is already running; it is
intended to be included as part of the installation or disk image building
process.

ec2-scripts 1.6 sysutils files touched by this commit Startup scripts for FreeBSD/EC2 environment
Update to 1.6. This uses "firstboot" support in the base system, so
provide an option which reverts back to the old version of this port.

I'm making it a configurable option rather than autodetecting based
on OSVERSION to make my life easier with "cross-building" images.

pkesh is a Public Key Encryption SHell script. Think GPG with 99.9% less

spiped 1.3.1 sysutils files touched by this commit Daemon for creating secure symmetric pipes
Update to spiped 1.3.1.

This new version brings automatic DNS re-resolution (useful when connecting
from wifi networks which give fake DNS until you log in), fixes a bug in the
handling of reset TCP connections, and replaces README files with man pages.

As the spiped build sets _POSIX_C_SOURCE for maximal portability, yet looks
for and uses MSG_NOSIGNAL if it is available (as a performance optimization
relative to the POSIX-compliant approach of blocking SIGPIPE), we force the
__BSD_VISIBLE macro to be defined.

Feature safe: yes

Update to 1.4: When creating swap space on EC2 ephemeral disks, parse EC2

switched to the former.
