  • Case sensitivity is ignored for "sounds like" and output is ordered by the soundex.
  • When searching on 'Message ID', the type of match is ignored.
  • When searching on 'Commit Message' only 'containing' is used.
  • When searching by 'Under a pathname', your path must start with something like /ports/, /doc/, or /src/. All commits under that point will be returned. The selected match type is ignored and defaults to 'Starts with'.

firstboot-freebsd-update 1.2 sysutils files touched by this commit Update the system using freebsd-update when it first boots
Teach the firstboot-freebsd-update script to disable itself if it is run
on something other than *-BETA*, *-RC*, or *-RELEASE*. There won't be
any bits available to download, and if we don't disable it then the first
boot will be slowed down due to freebsd-update trying all of the available
mirrors.

spiped 1.5.0 sysutils files touched by this commit Daemon for creating secure symmetric pipes
Add patch to work around bug in FreeBSD before r226610 (MFCed to stable/9
as r230953): Add #include <sys/types.h> before <netinet/tcp.h>. This was
breaking the build on FreeBSD 8.4.

While I'm here, quiesce portlint by switching from EXTRACT_SUFX=.tgz to
the new spelling USES=tar:tgz.

spiped 1.5.0 sysutils files touched by this commit Daemon for creating secure symmetric pipes
Update to 1.5.0. This update:
1. Fixes a crash on platforms with AESNI support and a malloc which does
not align large allocations to 16-byte boundaries. (AFAIK this does not
affect FreeBSD.)
2. Turns on TCP_NODELAY in order to avoid Nagling latency problems.

ec2-scripts 1.10 sysutils files touched by this commit Startup scripts for FreeBSD/EC2 environment
Update to 1.10. This fixes a bug in ec2_fetchkey which made it fail to
recognize when it was trying to create an account which already existed.

This will be used to build FreeBSD/EC2 images in the future.

firstboot-growfs 1.0 sysutils files touched by this commit Expand / when the system first boots
Add firstboot-growfs port:
When the system first boots, resize the (GPT) partition holding the root
filesystem, then resize the (UFS) root filesystem. This is intended to be
used in virtual machines where a VM image is built with one size but may
be launched onto a larger disk.

This will be used in EC2 images in the near future.

firstboot-pkgs 1.4 sysutils files touched by this commit Install packages when the system first boots
Nominate myself for the useful-use-of-cat award.

pkg detects if its stdout is a terminal and prints many 'done%' lines,
which are useful for interactive use on modern terminals, but not so
useful on a serial console; piping through cat silences these.

ec2-scripts 1.9 sysutils files touched by this commit Startup scripts for FreeBSD/EC2 environment
Update to 1.9. This fixes a bug in ec2_ephemeralswap where the amount of
ephemeral storage on an EC2 instance is less than the amount of swap space
we want to autoconfigure. (In particular, the m3.medium instance type has
4 GB of attached SSD storage but 3.75 GB of RAM, which results in a desired
7.5 GB of swap space.)

firstboot-pkgs 1.3 sysutils files touched by this commit Install packages when the system first boots
pkg uses "is stdin a terminal?" to decide if it's running interactively
and thereby whether it should display a progress bar during downloads.
While rc.d scripts have a terminal attached, for the common case of
unattended installation of servers, this script is not being used
interactively; so redirect stdin from /dev/null to silence the progress
bars and reduce console spew.

The -q option could be used to accomplish this, but that would also
eliminate other more useful information, such as the names and versions
of packages being installed.

firstboot-pkgs 1.0 sysutils files touched by this commit Install packages when the system first boots
Add firstboot-pkgs:

When the system first boots, install the pkg(8) tools (if not already
installed) and packages listed in the $firstboot_pkgs_list rc.conf
variable.

Obviously, this port is not useful after a system is already running; it is
intended to be included as part of the installation or disk image building
process.
