Notes

  • Case sensitivity is ignored for "sounds like" and output is ordered by the soundex.
  • When searching on 'Message ID', the type of match is ignored.
  • When searching on 'Commit Message' only 'containing' is used.
  • When searching by 'Under a pathname', your path must start with something like /ports/, /doc/, or /src/. All commits under that point will be returned. The selected match type is ignored and defaults to 'Starts with'.

Update to version 1.2, with inet6 support contributed by Peter J. Philipp.

Update distsite.

Myself, I tested with inet4 only but Peter's tested inet6 diff applied
with no mucking, so I feel it's safe enough.

cmucl 19f_1 lang  Ignore files touched by this commit The CMU implementation of Common Lisp
Update to cmucl-19f.

After discussions with the CMUCL implementor's list it has been
decided that the FreeBSD port should stay as it is, which means that
the 6.3 binary gets installed on all FreeBSD versions. That means the
port will not be smartened up to select binaries built for newer
FreeBSD versions that might be available. Consensus on the list was
that those who care about that level of detail do not use the port
(remember that it's a binary distribution anyway) and that for those
who casually want to run some Common Lisp code it is good enough to
just run the 6.3 binary.

The next release will probably not have a FreeBSD-6.3 binary but at
that time the majority of users will probably be on FreeBSD-7.x or
higher.

Tested: install/deinstall, manual check for proper removal, portlint.

Commited during partial thaw as a leave port that doesn't affect other
ports.

Fix allocation of pty for shell-mode.

This was broken for newer FreeBSDs which give out pty names
/dev/pty[pqrsPQRS][0123456789abcdefghijklmnopqrstuv]

emacs, manually searching, stopped at a gap of 3 entries. But the new
naming scheme allows a gap of 28. Set to 30 just in case. Actually
there's no good reason not to set that to 256, it's not that 512
system calls kill us everytime someone opens a shell in emacs.

Bump portsrevision so that it gets picked up by portupgrade.

I wonder whether other emacsens are affected, too...

Fix a long-term problem: shell-mode would not open a new shell fo
shell-mode on FreeBSD once a number of ttys were taken, it wouldn't
find the next free one where xterm and everybody else would.

Teach it to walk the list of possible FreeBSD ttys correctly.

This code is evil, I'm only doing it because emacs-21 is *really* evil
and I didn't port all of my .emacs to xemacs yet...
