  • When searching on 'Commit Message' only 'containing' is used.
  • When searching by 'Under a pathname', your path must start with something like /ports/, /doc/, or /src/. All commits under that point will be returned. The selected match type is ignored and defaults to 'Starts with'.

gtkradiant 1.5.0_14 games files touched by this commit Map editor for FPS games, by id Software and Loki Software
- Fix broken communication with external tools (e.g. q2map): GtkRadiant's
network library (libs/l_net) defines its own struct sockaddr_s, which
has single ``short sa_family'' field instead of ``unsigned char sa_len''
and ``sa_family_t sa_family'' of struct sockaddr; this, in turn, causes
problems when sockaddr_s objects bogusly used as sockaddr ones, e.g.:

    connect(4, { sa_len = 2, sa_family = 0, ...) ERR#47 'Address family
    not supported by protocol family'

- Fix missing main window icon by calling pixbuf_new_from_file_with_mask()
  with correct filepath
- Since these changes are likely to improve GtkRadiant user's experience,
  tentatively bump port revision
- Fix comment indentation in `radiant/treemodel.cpp' (broken in r384527)

mac 3.99.4.5.7 audio files touched by this commit Monkey's Audio lossless codec
- Update to the most recent version maintained by Jason Jordan as part of
his 3.99-u4-b5-sX series. Unfortunately we cannot assign it directly to
DISTVERSION without having to bump PORTEPOCH, so stick to 3.99.4.5.7 for
the time being (note that upstream Monkey's Audio SDK is at version 4.16
right now; but seems that no one ported it to Linux/Unix -- folks prefer
to maintain old 3.xx port instead; mention this in the port description)
- Build in "shntool-enabled" mode by default (-DSHNTOOL); this is also in
line with how most GNU/Linux distributions package it
- Install couple of useful documentation files, but first beautify them a
bit: convert to UTF-8 and append missing newline at EOF; sed(1) command
might look unnatural, but it is compatible with both GNU and BSD sed(1)
implementations (cf.: '-nep' is GNU-only, and '$G' is new BSD-only); we
prefer ${SED} over ${ECHO_CMD} >> because it is shorter and allows for
linear piping (no subshell and stream joining required)
- Convert in-place configure script editing to a patch as we also have to
teach it that elftoolchain's strip(1) can strip libraries; staying with
REINPLACE_CMD would make it harder to read compared to normal patchfile
- Remove duplicate GNU_CONFIGURE line, bogusly added by bapt@ in r353071

Reclaim maintainership of ports that I still use regularly, but decided to
relinquish at some point to allow contributions coming more easily (not to
impose hard lock). These days, there is no reason to yield maintainership
with the more lax rules and general consensus that casual changes do not
necessarily require explicit approval from maintainer prior to commit.

On the other hand, unmaintained ports can give (arguably false) impression
of being unwanted and one step above deprecation, yet these ports are not.

fltk 1.3.3_2 x11-toolkits files touched by this commit Cross-platform C++ graphical user interface toolkit
- Since version 1.3.3, FLTK now checks for compiler support of -fvisibility
and -fvisibility-inlines-hidden and uses it if available to reduce shared
library size. Unfortunately, this hides Fl_XFont_On_Demand::value, which
in turn causes undefined reference errors during linking. Fix by marking
Fl_XFont_On_Demand class as FL_EXPORT for the time being (Gentoo Linux is
  doing the same)
- Do not strip libraries for now: FLTK uses the same command for installing
both dynamic and static libraries, but "fltk-config(1) --compile" prefers
static, which breaks programs like `graphics/iccexamin' (threading test)
- Pull another patch from Gentoo to fix segmentation fault in vncview(1) of
port `net/tigervnc' (Gentoo bug #529856 by Maxim Britov)
- Do not leak non-existent (build-time only) -Lfoo references in LDFLAGS as
it can potentially lead to various sporadic bugs in programs which obtain
these flags through fltk-config(1). To prevent build-time conflicts that
this gimmick was originally used for, we change shared linking command of
  fluid(1) accordingly

Since these are one-line changes likely to be merged upstream sooner rather
than later, perform them with sed(1) instead of trivial patches.

fltk 1.3.3_1 x11-toolkits files touched by this commit Cross-platform C++ graphical user interface toolkit
- Fix the breakage caused by previous commit (r378707): restore sane order of
knobs; resurrect documentation/Makefile patch; bring back recalculation of
${ETCDIR} length in Fl_Preferences.cxx, trim CONFIGURE_ARGS (again), etc.
- Restore correct LDFLAGS+= -L../src (previously -L${WRKSRC}/src), otherwise
the build fails with e.g. previous version of FLTK libraries installed
- Take maintainership to prevent Kato's monkeys jeopardizing it all over again
- Install code examples as PORTEXAMPLES (we do not install any documentation
because it requires LaTeX stack to build)
- Since `post-patch' target is a bit too verbose now, make it .SILENT
- Do not compile things with -Os by default (already honors user's CXXFLAGS)
- Do not blindly strip libraries and fluid(1) binary (respect ${STRIP} value)

- Move mainstream version to 346.xx (update to 346.35) and create another
legacy slave port `x11/nvidia-driver-340'; update top comment accordingly
- No longer explicitly advertise brokenness for ${OSVERSION} > 1000041 and
${NVVERSION} <= 71.08615 combination: not only old legacy ports recently
had been removed, but frankly users of those old gfx cards should either
not be running FreeBSD 10.x or totally rely on self-support, thus making
this BROKEN statement merely an annoyance for them (other checks for some
older driver versions still remain as being functional)
- Change CONFLICTS to CONFLICTS_INSTALL (honestly, this change *should* be
no-op since CONFLICTS should be installation-time conflicts in the first
place, but adhere to this stupidity of the framework for the time being)

Improve the way we use optional high-resolution textures:
- Forget about Milky Way texture for now as it causes rendering artifacts;
- While most of those textures are indeed better than the ones provided by
default (e.g., Jupiter and Ganymede), some of those are actually worse
(e.g. Venus). Use simple file size-based logic to decide if a texture
  is worth a replacement.
