  • Case sensitivity is ignored for "sounds like" and output is ordered by the soundex.
  • When searching on 'Message ID', the type of match is ignored.
  • When searching on 'Commit Message' only 'containing' is used.
  • When searching by 'Under a pathname', your path must start with something like /ports/, /doc/, or /src/. All commits under that point will be returned. The selected match type is ignored and defaults to 'Starts with'.

Consistently spell out ONLY_FOR_ARCHS_REASON due to SSE (and other SIMD

as SSE abbreviation itself means "Streaming SIMD Extensions". Correct
way to refer to particular (CPU-agnostic) technology is "SIMD instruction
set", which is not limited to MMX, SSE family, AVX, NEON, etc.

Since "instruction set" looks a bit too formal in the option description,
use more casual and shorter word "instructions".

During the exp-run in PR 201377, it was found that `games/doomlegacy' gives

This is because the program uses the wrong form of inline function, causing
linking to fail. This can be fixed easily by using "static inline" instead.

scm 5f2 lang files touched by this commit Scheme interpreter
Revert r394321: optimizing away MASTER_SITE_SUBDIR actually makes the port
more fragile towards the next upgrades. While it also does hide the moment
of the next version update, we should generally try keeping ports fetchable
at all times (and thus more robust).

This also reverts freefall login expansion in Makefile header: despite its
sanity and merit, it incidentally clashes with one of the PHB "rules" that
had recently plagued the Handbook. Correct fix would be to fix the latter,
but for now this particular issue is causing too much drama on the lists.

etherape 0.9.13_2 net-mgmt files touched by this commit Graphical network traffic monitor tool modeled after Etherman
Fix broken GUI due to infamous "libglade-WARNING **: could not find signal

exported correctly (via G_MODULE_EXPORT), but I'd leave it for upstream to
decide how to come up with a proper fix. For now, adding `-export-dynamic'

Add a new port of net/nanomsg, a ZeroMQ-like socket library in pure C.
Currently the port does not install manual pages, as they have to be

mac 3.99.4.5.7 audio files touched by this commit Monkey's Audio lossless codec
- Update to the most recent version maintained by Jason Jordan as part of
his 3.99-u4-b5-sX series. Unfortunately we cannot assign it directly to
DISTVERSION without having to bump PORTEPOCH, so stick to 3.99.4.5.7 for
the time being (note that upstream Monkey's Audio SDK is at version 4.16
right now; but seems that no one ported it to Linux/Unix -- folks prefer
to maintain old 3.xx port instead; mention this in the port description)
- Build in "shntool-enabled" mode by default (-DSHNTOOL); this is also in
line with how most GNU/Linux distributions package it
- Install couple of useful documentation files, but first beautify them a
bit: convert to UTF-8 and append missing newline at EOF; sed(1) command
might look unnatural, but it is compatible with both GNU and BSD sed(1)
implementations (cf.: '-nep' is GNU-only, and '$G' is new BSD-only); we
prefer ${SED} over ${ECHO_CMD} >> because it is shorter and allows for
linear piping (no subshell and stream joining required)
- Convert in-place configure script editing to a patch as we also have to
teach it that elftoolchain's strip(1) can strip libraries; staying with
REINPLACE_CMD would make it harder to read compared to normal patchfile
- Remove duplicate GNU_CONFIGURE line, bogusly added by bapt@ in r353071

Reclaim maintainership of ports that I still use regularly, but decided to
relinquish at some point to allow contributions coming more easily (not to
impose hard lock). These days, there is no reason to yield maintainership
with the more lax rules and general consensus that casual changes do not
necessarily require explicit approval from maintainer prior to commit.

On the other hand, unmaintained ports can give (arguably false) impression
of being unwanted and one step above deprecation, yet these ports are not.

shntool 3.0.10 audio files touched by this commit Multi-purpose WAVE data processing and reporting utility
- Sort some multi-value knobs for better readability and maintainability:

- Rename WV option to our standard (shared) WAVPACK and thus remove its
description (along with ALAC_DESC which was recently added in r382796)
- Drop BONK codec from OPTIONS (port removed in r361893 as being obsolete,
however, its homepage is still up: http://www.logarithmic.net/pfh/bonk)
- Rename RDEP to RDEP_MAPPING which reflects its purpose and lowers the
chances of possible name-clash (due to RDEP being a common contraction)
- Fix LA:laudio:linux-laudio mapping (before, it won't be able to find
the binary, rebuilding the port over package, eventually failing the
  "make install" check)
- Improve on the COMMENT, option descriptions, and port description text

rawstudio 2.0_10 graphics files touched by this commit Open-source program to read and manipulate RAW photo images
Update lensfun to version 0.3.0. It contains few changes making consumer
code incompatible with earlier versions; particularly, removal of CCI (the
Color Contribution Index of the lens, as defined by ISO 6728-83) [1] and
FOV1 ("field-of-view") [2] distortion model.

Four ports had to be patched to build against new lensfun (all fall under
`graphics' category): digikam-kde4, gimp-lensfun-plugin, hugin, rawstudio.
