Notes

  • Case sensitivity is ignored for "sounds like" and output is ordered by the soundex.
  • When searching on 'Message ID', the type of match is ignored.
  • When searching on 'Commit Message' only 'containing' is used.
  • When searching by 'Under a pathname', your path must start with something like /ports/, /doc/, or /src/. All commits under that point will be returned. The selected match type is ignored and defaults to 'Starts with'.

rawio 1.2_2 benchmarks  Deleted Deprecated Expired files touched by this commit Test performance of low-level storage devices
Re-support FreeBSD 4 (which has sys/disk.h as a kernel header, not a
userland/kernel header). No PORTREVISION bump since this is a fix
for compilation.

rawio 1.2_2 benchmarks  Deleted Deprecated Expired files touched by this commit Test performance of low-level storage devices
Modify rawio(1) to work with GEOM by losing the multiple-open(2)
semantics. As GEOM prevents actual concurrent accesses that are
deemed generally unsafe. As we know, as a rawio(1) user, that we
are intending to do something ostensibly unsafe, we can use a single
open(2) shared among the worker children and then use pread(2) and
pwrite(2) instead of read(2), write(2) and lseek(2). This properly
bypasses the sanity checks GEOM makes for concurrent access.

Additionally, sector size isn't and hasn't ever been necessarily 512
(or a multiple thereof), but we don't have many classical examples
of devices not the common case that we'd test rawio(1) with. In my
particular case, I'm using graid3(8) and have an effective sector size
of 1024. The program now attempts to use DIOCGSECTORSIZE to find
the correct base for a device and thus Works For Me.

mod_auth_kerb 5.0.r6_1 www  Deleted Deprecated Expired files touched by this commit An Apache module for authenticating users with Kerberos v5
* Allow for compilation to optionally use the MIT Kerberos 5 port like
now, but default to the base system's Heimdal.
* Use existing API to tell Heimdal's libkrb5 where the keytab is, rather
than exporting an environment variable (which is what must be done for
MIT's, apparently) -- this unbreak's specification of the keytab
  location in httpd.conf.
* Rewrite the description to be far more accurate: no mention was made
of this module doing real SPNEGO/GSSAPI/Kerberos (as opposed to
  "Kerberos password gateway") authentication.
* Bump PORTREVISION.

jdk14 1.4.2p6_6 java  Deleted Broken Deprecated Expired Ignore files touched by this commit Java Development Kit 1.4.2
The BSD patchset for the Sun JDK modeled its thread behavior mostly after
existing the Solaris base, and similarly to what happened with NSPR, made
a bad assumption on undefined behavior. This broke locking in various
places in Java, for example, causing the the debugging support to be
totally broken. It is worth someone who knows the Java codebase taking
a look to see what other things could have been broken by this on
FreeBSD 5.x+.

The assumption is that pthread_mutex_trylock(3) on a default-type
mutex will fail with EBUSY. This assumption is wrong for our
libpthread, which returns EDEADLK if the owner thread is trying to
acquire the mutex again with trylock. The behavior of performing a
locking operation on a self-locked default-type mutex is explicitly
undefined for pthread_mutex_lock(3).

xmms-imms 1.2a audio  Deleted Broken Deprecated Expired Ignore files touched by this commit Automatic, weight-based playlist ordering plugin for XMMS
Update to IMMS version 1.2a. The functionality for classification has been
split back out so this is a General, not a Visualization, XMMS plug-in.
The sox program is now used to scale music for classification, and in
general things should be far faster using more optimal SQL with SQLite 3.
Since analysis is not integrated with XMMS playback directly, instead of
"demand-classification" the analyze program can be run beforehand and
you will immediately start off with smoother transitions between musical
genres.
