qtawesome 20150319 graphics new! files touched by this commit Embed Font Awesome glyphs in Qt-applications
Add port for QtAwesome -- a small library, which makes it easier for
QtApplications to use the "fontawesome" collection of icons.

Although the upstream source bundles the "font" itself with its sources
too, the port makes no use of it -- there are already about 2 scores
of fontawesome-FOO.ttf listed in various pkg-plist files in the tree.

This port's pkg-message will advise the user, that for the library to
be useful, the font-file must be known to fontconfig.

pecl-crack 0.4,1 security files touched by this commit PECL extension to cracklib
Unbreak and otherwise improve this port:

	* Use standard source of PECL-sources -- the old MASTER_SITE is
gone, and good riddance too, because the difference between
	  0.4 and 0.4.1 was an irrelevant one-liner.
	* Patch to use modern PHP ZEND API
	* Patch to actually use cracklib as advertized -- since the
	  port's inception it LIB_DEPENDed on security/cracklib and
advertized its use in pkg-descr, lying on both accounts.
	* Throw in a couple of basic usage tests rejecting bad passwords
	  and accepting good ones.

accessible and to cy@ for promptly updating security/cracklib to use

The bad news:

	1. gcc is still required -- clang can build the binaries, but

disabled. This is, probably, due to some suspect code in
bytenumb.c -- would be good to investigate.
	2. Building this port in parallel is still not possible -- the
Makefile is too convoluted and same sources are recompiled
multiple times with different #defines set.

The good news:

	1. Resolve a large number of warnings.
	2. Fix build on ia64 and sparc64 (tested on pluto and flame

Although it continued to build -- with lots of warnings -- the editor
quietly stopped working over the years. It would not come up on 64-bit
at all, and, even where it worked, the copy/pasting was broken due to,
apparently, some unwarranted assumptions about X11, that were no longer
true with modern Xorg.

This change makes use of a major patch, that provides for reasonably
warning-free compile -- which, by itself, fixes the crashes. Also
included in the patch are fixes for copy/pasting as well for parallel
building. (Awareness raised upstream.)

Because BR_Parser.y is among the patched files, bison is now needed at

meant only to be loaded into Tcl at run-time by explicit path (via
"package require").

It does not need to be known to rtld. In fact, because the permissions
on the directory (lib/tdom0.8.3) allowed group-writing, ldconfig refused
to process the directory anyway.

Correct the latter problem for great justice.

asio 1.10.4 net files touched by this commit Cross-platform C++ library for network and low-level I/O programming
Upgrade from 1.4.8 to 1.10.4. Stop compiling things (tests, examples),
which we aren't going to use or install.

Instead of LIB-depending on boost, include RUN-dependency on one
of boost's header-files. Because we are no longer compiling, we
don't need boost installed at package-building time.

flite 1.4_1 audio files touched by this commit Small run-time speech synthesis engine
Fix the ancient problem, where we replaced Linux' "cp -pd" with
simple "cp -p". This caused symbolic links (like libFOO.so ->
libFOO.so.X.Y) to be dereferenced installing three copies of each
library instead of one.

Strip the executables and the shared libraries after staging.

Fix the authors' makefiles to allow parallel building.

Add a patch which allows us to replace the multitude of
flite_VOICE-executables (one for each voice) with sym-links to the
single flite itself.

The size of the package shrunk from 100Mb to 50Mb here (amd64) as the
result of the above measures.

Bump PORTREVISION.

Note: the new patches are deliberately organized by feature rather than
by the patched files -- to make it easier to refer the upstream
maintainers to them.

[ 19:23 mi ] Original commit
wingz3 311_3 math  Ignore files touched by this commit Commercial Spreadsheet
Fix this long-neglected port, which kept bit-rotting over years of
sweeping changes to the tree:

	* Use the SUB_FILES mechanism instead of modifying the
	  wrapper ourselves;
	* Support staging
	* Use PREFIX as appropriate instead of LOCALBASE.
	* Clarify the NO_PACKAGE message and stop using quotes with it.

These old binaries require last century's ld-linux.so.1 and libc5
versions of certain libraries. Because no port remains under
emulation/ that provides them, fetch and use the old RedHat's RPMs
for ld.so-1 and libc-5. The needed bits from the former are stuck
into ${LINUXBASE}/compat/lib (despite portlint's encouragements to
the contrary). The latter's pieces are unpacked into the new
subdirectory under the package's own install tree (Wingz3/lib/libc5).

Modify the wrapper script to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to include the above
directory and to set XLOCALEDIR to the modern location of locale-files
(the old libraries still look for them under /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/locale).

Should another port ever need these old Linux libraries, I'd be happy to
cooperate on placing them into a port of their own.

Bump PORTREVISION.
