As previously announced, remove ports that have reached their expiry date,
and the handful of ports that depended on them.

Commit something that I've been sitting on for just about months now:
make the PHP3 ports work with any version of MySQL, not just 3.23.x.
The main (actually, the only) problem was that MySQL 4.x no longer has
mysql_drop_db() and mysql_create_db() as separate functions, and just as
mentioned in the manual, the solution is to use mysql_query() (or
rather, mysql_real_query()) and emulate them.

Tidy up whitespace.

- fix shared version of gd.lib (optional)

Chase the libintl.so shared lib version.

Point dependencies on net/openldap to net/openldap12

Follow mod_php4:

Help "make describe" to find dependencies properly.

Missed configure scripts in libpq version bump: chase lib version.

chase mcrypt lib version

Update libmcrypt to 2.5.3, which has no functional changes.

Two more gettext shlib updates that got missed.

gettext upgrade uber-patch (stage 3)

- switch devel/gettext (0.11.1) on, installing full package
- flip devel/gettext-old (0.10.35) to installing only static binaries
  with a "-old" suffix -- gettext-old will have its deorbit burn
  sequence initiated just after 4.6-RELEASE
- fix up ports for the new world order

Correct name (iconv, not giconv) and version (3, not 2) of the shared library
installed by the converters/libiconv port.

Fix SybaseDB and SybaseCT after freetds upgrade:    

Remove pdflib support.    

Fix include directory for postgresql7.1's new layout.    

Use /usr/bin/mktemp to generate temporary file.    

Add Interbase 6 database support (Firebird).    

Bump mcrypt shared library version number due to upgrade.    

Add support options for sysvshm and sysvmem.    

Add hooks for a standalone php3 slave port.  

Disable mcrypt support. I doesn't compile at the moment due to recent   mcrypt
upgrade.    

graphics/gd installs libgd.so.2, now.    

Add YP support.    

ucd-snmp is named net-snmp, now.    

Switch from mysql322-{client,server} to mysql323-{client,server}.    

Quick and dirty hack to fix build if postgresql is build with ssl   support.    

Drop mSQL support.    

mail/cclient installs libc-client4.so.8, now.    

Add missing \'s. No functional change.    

Reenable mhash support. It seems to work, now.    

Correct dependency for libmcrypt.    

old postgresql port has been removed.   use postgresql7, which has proven
stability now.    

Change dependency from mail/imap-uw to mail/cclient (the client part   of
imap-uw).    

Add gettext support.    

Update LIB_DEPENDS for gd: gd.0 -> gd.1.    

Add explicit test if /usr/lib/libdes.a is not a symlink to avoid   problems on
4.0-STABLE (5.0-CURRENT probably, too) if kerberos4   is installed.    

Add mod_php3 after repository copy from apache13-php3.
