- Drop dependency on x11/wrapper. X server already contains this code
(programs/Xserver/os/utils.c rev. 3.58).
- Install default SecurityPolicy with XFree86-4-libraries, thus avoiding
plists and who-owns-what complications between different fooServer ports.
Copy default file to real one if that doesn't exist and remove both upon
uninstall if they are the same.
- Revert change to Imake.rules rev. 3.132 in devel/imake-4 port, since
couple of ports break with this change

Update X.Org ports to 6.8.1, and the DRI port to use Mesa 6.2.  Because Mesa 6.2
DRI drivers are incompatible with the old libGL in XFree86, they have been
repocopied to graphics/xfree86-dri.  Also note that with this commit the html
manpages are going away, and with it the runtime dependency on perl for the
imake port.

        [1] Typo in FONT[100,75]DPI... sigh.  How did I miss this one?
            This is probably the main reason people are seeing "don't know
            how to make /usr/X11R6/bin/ucs2any.pl" when building the font
            ports, but I'm not certain.

XFree86 4.2.0 Stage 3: XFree86-4's evolution to a metaport

Add support for SYSV IPC. This patch is REQUIRED for GL to work with the  
FreeBSD NVIDIA drivers.    

Use ${ECHO_CMD} instead of ${ECHO} where you mean the echo command;   the ECHO
macro is set to "echo" by default, but it is set to "true" if   make(1) is
invoked with the -s option while ECHO_CMD is always set to   the echo command.  
 

Back out XFree86 4.2.0 and all recent modifications for the sake of   preserving
the upcoming 4.5 release.  Bump PORTEPOCH to denote portversion   going
backwards.  All files have been reverted to exactly what they were   3 days ago,
before the 4.2.0 upgrade, except PORTEPOCH bump.    

Use only one package list for i386, alpha and pc98 and generate the appropriate 
 list ($WRKDIR/pk-plist) in the c onfigure script.    

Add S3 driver.    

Upgrade to 4.2.0    

Fix a flickering LCD problem with i815 chipset.    

Patch to support ATI XPERT 128.    

Set LATEST_LINK to `XFree86-4'.    

Patch startx so that X is started with the "-nolisten tcp" by default and   add

The vmware driver must be in the i386Architecture section, not in the  
non-i386Architecture section!    

Disable the build with WITH_MATROX_GXX_DRIVER. It does not work with 4.1.0

Move manpages from pkg-plist to Makefile.man.    

Do not build and the DRI kernel modules in -current. Sources of drm modules  
have to be modified for SMPng systems.

set MASTER_SITE_SUBDIR to 4.0.2    

Upgrade to version 4.0.3   - patch-0 replaced by 'MAKE_ARGS=' in Makefile   -
XF86Setup is no more supported in XFree-4, so patch-8 is removed as well     as
corresponding stuff in scripts/configure   - patch-config_cf_Server_tmpl
replaced by the setting of InstallXserverSetUID     in scripts/configure   other
removed patches are no more necessary.    

Add the trailing slash to the master site for matrox driver.    

Add the official Matrox driver for G200, G400 and G450 graphic adapters.   This
is optional and enabled only if WITH_MATROX_GXX_DRIVER is defined.    

Use pre-configure instead of pre-fetch to test compiler flags. pre-fetch   is
already used for the USA_RESIDENT test.    

Add a pre-fetch target to check CFLAGS. XFree won't compile with -O3 or above  
with xthreads.   Bump PORTREVISION.    

Style fixes for ports category x11.    

Add the savage driver.    

Don't build freetype2 from the XFree sources and add a dependency on  
print/freetype2.   I only got negative feedback with the previous version.    

Compile and install the freetype extension.    

Use /etc/mtree/BSD.x11-4.dist, not /etc/mtree/BSD.x11dist!    

Add X threads support.    

One more  patch  is  needed to  ensure  the  X11 build  uses centrally  
specified  CFLAGS all over.  Without this, no  optimization is used AT ALL   for
some files (libraries).    

Upgrade to 4.0.2    

Use /etc/mtree/BSD.x11-4.dist as mtree file and remove all corresponding  
'@dirrm ...' in plists.    

There's a bug in XFree86-4's XCreateFontSet(), revealed by 5-current's   default
AJ /etc/malloc.conf behaviour.  It can't auto-match CJK fontnames   specified in
its fontset argument, but only explicit fontnames are accepted.    

Fix a problem with the PAM support in xdm that prevents pam_start_session()  
from ever being called    

Enable PAM in xdm if it was requested in the configure phase. PAM support   was
broken in previous revisions.    

Add a patch to fix the build when Xinerama is not required.    

Fix my previous commit. One can't use OSVERSION before including bsd.port.pre.mk
   

Mark BROKEN for FreeBSD < 4.1. Compilation requires <sys/agpio.h> which   does
not exist. Furthermore `as' does not grok one assembly source  
(xc/lib/GL/mesa/src/X86/common_x86asm.S)

Fix crashes of 'XFree86-4 -configure' on systems with i810 video    

Install the X server without the SUID bit, remove the warning about the  
possible insecurity of this, and inform users about the x11/wrapper port.    

Fix compilation problems in -current    

Set PORTREVISION=3 (patch-l)    

${PKGDIR}/INSTALL -> ${PKGINSTALL}.  I'm also giving it PRE-INSTALL as   the
second argument.    

Rename PLIST.alpha to pkg-plist.alpha.  (By the way, PLIST.pc98 is in   the
Makefile but doesn't exist.)    

A better patch for the mouse locking problem. The previous patch broke some   of
the other mouse protocols.    

Add PORTREVISION= 1    

Make life of maintainers of various XFree ports a bit easier by moving  
MASTER_SITES into bsd.sites.mk (MASTER_SITE_XFREE). Also add officially  
announced by xfree http mirror. Following is the announcement.    

The source directory in MASTER_SITES is 4.0.1 (not 4.01)   Set also the port
version to 4.0.1    

Upgrade to version 4.01    

Unbreak 'make clean' and 'make readmes'    

Fix USA_RESIDENT == NO case    

Remove FORBIDDEN tag and add a dialog box explaining the possible   continued
insecurity of this port.
