"This software is completely useless to 99.99 percent of users
out there. It is mostly of use to those interested in audio
coding research and evaluating codecs. It could theoretically
be used as a portion of a DVD playback system for unix systems.
There are issues with DVD encryption and licensing that need to be
  resolved however."

It is dead, unmaintain and replaced by liba52 (a52dec). There is no ac3dec in
gentoo and debain. Also, there is no ports that depend on this. I think it is
pointless for us to keep it alives when it is dead outside FreeBSD. Therefore,
remove this port.

Reset maintainer from 3d@FreeBSD.org to ports@FreeBSD.org. Apparently
3d@ has not been active in the FreeBSD community for some time now.
