VLC media player is a highly portable multimedia player for various
audio and video formats (MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DivX, mp3, ogg, and
more) as well as DVD's, VCD's, and various streaming protocols. It
can also be used as a server to stream in unicast or multicast in

Add a new framework for browser plugins, USE_WEBPLUGINS. It is for which foo
plugins support one of web browsers and can take care of plist (depend on how
you use it) at the same time. I have written a complete document and even show
how it works in the www/firefox/Makefile.webplugins so be sure to read in
there. If there is anything that isn't clear in the document, please feel free
to ask and I will try my best to improvement it.

FYI: GNOME 2.24 depends on this, so it's coming.

BTW: It's based on www/linux-mplayer-plugin/Makefile.npapi with heavy modified.

Enable the img_resample (old) code even if ffmpeg is built with libswscale
support.  There were patches floating around for other OSes that did
something similar.  While applications should be moving to libswscale,
some (e.g. vlc) haven't gotten there yet.

Remove firefox3 from USE_GECKO; it does not work and wait for xulrunner 1.9
comes in. The xulrunner 1.9 is current in MC ports. It's clear about that
Mozilla folks want us to use xulrunner for SDK/build.
