The KDE Frameworks are add-on libraries for coding applications with Qt.
The individual Frameworks are well documented, tested and their API style will
be familiar to Qt developers.
Frameworks are developed under the proven KDE governance model with a
predictable release schedule, a clear and vendor neutral contributor process,
open governance and flexible LGPL or MIT licensing.
The frameworks are cross-platform and function on Windows, Mac, Android and
Linux.
KDE: Update KDE Frameworks 6 to 6.15.0
Announcement: https://kde.org/announcements/frameworks/6/6.15.0/
Port changes:
- Depend on Qt6Tools where it is required.
- Explicitly disable Python bindings.

python.mk: rename PYTHON_EXT_SUFFIX to PYTHON_TAG, document, etc
EXT_SUFFIX, according to PEP 3149, refers to the full tag and
extension for compiled extension module objects, eg .cpython-311.so,
.cpython-313t.so, etc. We do not use the correct semantic meaning,
and this usage becomes ambiguous and confusing when tags do not
match between bytecode and compiled extension module objects.
Rename our PYTHON_EXT_SUFFIX to PYTHON_TAG to align with PEP 3147's
specification of a magic tag, which consists of implementation name
and shorthand version only. This is meant for bytecode and other
files containing this tag in their filename that do not depend on
a specific Python ABI for the same version. Chase all existing
consumers.

KDE: Update KDE Frameworks 6 to 6.14.0
Announcement: https://kde.org/announcements/frameworks/6/6.14.0/
Port changes:
MK/Uses/kde.mk:
- do not use Framework patch version for DIST_SUBDIR to ease
hotfix updates.
misc/kf6-purpose:
- depend on accounts-qml-module again. This reverts
commit 6a11ad84f0b5799ddaae6fd437562a62c627109c.

python: bump all USE_PYTHON=distutils consumers after RUN_DEPENDS removal
Any missed ports, feel free to bump.
Any ports that need setuptools at runtime can have the devel/py-setuptools
manually added back to RUN_DEPENDS, but understand that this practice
is deprecated; see CHANGES for details.

KDE: Update KDE Frameworks 6 to 6.0.0
This updates KDE Frameworks 6 to the first stable release.
Update plan for the rest of KDE:
* The KDE Plasma 6 ports that are currently in the tree will be updated
shortly to the stable release.
* The KDE Applications will be updated to 24.02 at the beginning of the
next quarter in the tree. They will be mostly Qt6 based.
To test them beforehand, one can use the overlay [1].
* The idea is to wait out the first patch-release for the applications,
which should hopefully get rid of most of the new bugs.
