mail/rubygem-extended_email_reply_parser: Add
rubygem-extended_email_reply_parser 0.5.1
When implementing a "reply or comment by email" feature, it's necessary to
filter out signatures and the previous conversation. One needs to extract just
the relevant parts for the conversation or comment section of the application.
This is what this ruby gem helps to do.
This gem is an extended version of GitHub's email_reply_parser. It wraps the
original email_reply_parser and allows to build extensions such as support for
i18n and detecting previous conversation that is not properly marked as
quotation by the sender's mail client.

rubygem-premailer-rails-rails71: Add rubygem-premailer-rails-rails71 1.12.0
premailer-rails is a drop in solution for styling HTML emails with CSS without
having to do the hard work yourself.
Styling emails is not just a matter of linking to a stylesheet. Most clients,
especially web clients, ignore linked stylesheets or <style> tags in the HTML.
The workaround is to write all the CSS rules in the style attribute of each tag
inside your email. This is a rather tedious and hard to maintain approach.
Premailer to the rescue! The great premailer gem applies all CSS rules to each
matching HTML element by adding them to the style attribute. This allows you to
keep HTML and CSS in separate files, just as you're used to from web
development, thus keeping your sanity.
This gem is an adapter for premailer to work with actionmailer out of the box.
Actionmailer is the email framework used in Rails, which also works outside of
Rails. Although premailer-rails has certain Rails specific features, it also
works in the absence of Rails making it compatible with other frameworks such as
sinatra.

mail/rubygem-actionmailer71: Add rubygem-actionmailer71 7.1.1
Action Mailer is a framework for designing email service layers. These layers
are used to consolidate code for sending out forgotten passwords, welcome wishes
on signup, invoices for billing, and any other use case that requires a written
notification to either a person or another system.
Action Mailer is in essence a wrapper around Action Controller and the Mail gem.
It provides a way to make emails using templates in the same way that Action
Controller renders views using templates.
Additionally, an Action Mailer class can be used to process incoming email, such
as allowing a blog to accept new posts from an email (which could even have been
sent from a phone).

mail/rubygem-actionmailbox71: Add rubygem-actionmailbox71 7.1.1
Action Mailbox routes incoming emails to controller-like mailboxes for
processing in Rails. It ships with ingresses for Mailgun, Mandrill, Postmark,
and SendGrid. You can also handle inbound mails directly via the built-in Exim,
Postfix, and Qmail ingresses.
The inbound emails are turned into InboundEmail records using Active Record and
feature lifecycle tracking, storage of the original email on cloud storage via
Active Storage, and responsible data handling with on-by-default incineration.
These inbound emails are routed asynchronously using Active Job to one or
several dedicated mailboxes, which are capable of interacting directly with the
rest of your domain model.

mail/postforward: New port: Postfix SRS forwarding agent
Postforward is a mail forwarding utility which aims to compliment the
Postfix Sender Rewriting Scheme daemon (mail/postsrsd).
The downside of using PostSRSd is that all mail is naively rewritten,
even when no forwarding is actually performed. Such rewritten
Return-Path addresses may confuse sieve scripts and other mail filtering
software.
This is where Postforward comes in. Instead of rewriting all incoming
mail regardless of final destination, mail systems may be configured to
pipe mail into Postforward only when forwarding needs to happen,
leaving non-forwarded mail unaltered by PostSRSd. Postforward will
rewrite envelope addresses for piped mail using PostSRSd itself and
re-inject these messages back into the queue, destined for the
forwarding recipient(s).
Additional patch added to handle mailing lists
Committers note:
Patch modified to follow Porters Handbook more closely

mail/procmail-bgrb: New port
mail/procmail-bgrb is a new port tracking the BuGlessRB fork of
procmail (which hasn't been updated for over 20 years).
The commits to BuGlessRB/procmail appear be by the original author
of procmail. Wikipedia documents that the upstream for this port is
its repo.
As this upstream is in active development and the original procmail on
sourceforge is defunct, we may wish to consider merging or replacing
mail/procmail with this port at some point.

mail/dovecot-fts-flatcurve: NEW Port
This is a Dovecot FTS plugin to enable message indexing using the Xapian
Open Source Search Engine Library.
The plugin relies on Dovecot to do the necessary stemming.
It is intended to act as a simple interface to the Xapian
storage/search query functionality.
This driver supports match scoring and substring matches (on by
default), which means it is RFC 3501 (IMAP4rev1) compliant.
This driver does not support fuzzy searches.

mail/nmh-devel: Add new port
There hass been quite a bit of development of nmh over the last four
years since 1.7.1 was released. This new nmh-devel port will track nmh
development. As the nmh git repo is hosted on savannah.gnu.org, there
is no easy way to fetch development snapshots like we do through
github. Therefore I've mirrored the repo at savannah.gnu.org
(https://git.savannah.nongnu.org/git/nmh.git) and pushed it to a
mirror I maintain on my github account. (Pulling from remote
upstream -- remote origin has been renamed to remote upstream --
and pushing to remote origin.)
Welcome the new nmh-devel port.

mail/rubygem-actionmailbox70: Add rubygem-actionmailbox70 7.0.0
Action Mailbox routes incoming emails to controller-like mailboxes for
processing in Rails. It ships with ingresses for Mailgun, Mandrill, Postmark,
and SendGrid. You can also handle inbound mails directly via the built-in Exim,
Postfix, and Qmail ingresses.
The inbound emails are turned into InboundEmail records using Active Record and
feature lifecycle tracking, storage of the original email on cloud storage via
Active Storage, and responsible data handling with on-by-default incineration.
These inbound emails are routed asynchronously using Active Job to one or
several dedicated mailboxes, which are capable of interacting directly with the
rest of your domain model.

mail/rubygem-actionmailer70: Add rubygem-actionmailer70 7.0.0
Action Mailer is a framework for designing email service layers. These layers
are used to consolidate code for sending out forgotten passwords, welcome wishes
on signup, invoices for billing, and any other use case that requires a written
notification to either a person or another system.
Action Mailer is in essence a wrapper around Action Controller and the Mail gem.
It provides a way to make emails using templates in the same way that Action
Controller renders views using templates.
Additionally, an Action Mailer class can be used to process incoming email, such
as allowing a blog to accept new posts from an email (which could even have been
sent from a phone).
