A Matrix client written in Go using mautrix-go.
gomuks is split into a backend and various frontends. The backend can either be
used as a traditional SDK that's built into the client, or as a remote server
which acts more like a bouncer.
gomuks web is the most mature frontend and is ready for daily use. The web
frontend also has various wrappers, like the Android app. There's also a
version with an embedded backend in wasm.
gomuks terminal is a port of legacy gomuks, but it's still experimental and
doesn't have many features beyond basic chatting. A version with the backend
embedded is planned, but doesn't exist yet (#662). For legacy gomuks terminal,
see the v0.3.1 tag and #476.
net-im/gomuks: Add missing terminal binary and front/backend web parts
- Update to 26.06 (v0.2606.0)
- Build gomuks-terminal (TUI frontend). This version of the TUI is not
as feature rich as the previous version should be added back via
net-im/gomuks-legacy until feature complete.
- Build gomuks web frontend and backend via USES=electron:env to fetch
npm bits via upstream package.json adding @swc/core-freebsd-x64
- Take maintainership

PR: 292010
many: Unpin Go ports
Unpin Go ports that I missed the first time around because the version
number was not the first argument.
Fixes: 75d873b56a74 ("many: Unpin Go ports")
go: Bump go124-dependent ports
Earlier I bumped the default Go to 1.24. Ports that specify a lower
version will still build with those lower version (for now), so they
don't need a bumping. Instead I'm bumping anything that (now) has go124
as a dependency.
Remove WWW entries moved into port Makefiles
Commit b7f05445c00f has added WWW entries to port Makefiles based on
WWW: lines in pkg-descr files.
This commit removes the WWW: lines of moved-over URLs from these
pkg-descr files.
Approved by: portmgr (tcberner)
Add WWW entries to port Makefiles
It has been common practice to have one or more URLs at the end of the
ports' pkg-descr files, one per line and prefixed with "WWW:". These
URLs should point at a project website or other relevant resources.
Access to these URLs required processing of the pkg-descr files, and
they have often become stale over time. If more than one such URL was
present in a pkg-descr file, only the first one was tarnsfered into
the port INDEX, but for many ports only the last line did contain the
port specific URL to further information.
There have been several proposals to make a project URL available as
a macro in the ports' Makefiles, over time.
