cflowd is a flow analysis tool currently used for analyzing Cisco's
NetFlow enabled switching method.

The current release includes the collections, storage, and basic
analysis modules for cflowd and for arts++ libraries.

This analysis package permits data collection and analysis by ISPs
and network engineers in support of capacity planning, trends analysis,
and characterization of workloads in a network service provider environment.

Other areas where cflowd may prove useful include usage tracking for Web
hosting, accounting and billing, network planning and analysis, network
monitoring, developing user profiles, data warehousing and mining,
as well as security-related investigations.

Say hello to the new "net-mgmt" category. There are probably more
ports that belong here than the ones I have identified and moved in
this, first, pass.

Before committing the previous BROKEN changes I carefully checked the status
of each port on bento and for recent fixes. Unfortunately at some point I
got confused and switched to the wrong list :-) As a result I picked up a
number of ports that were fixed a while ago. Sorry for the false alarm,
maintainers.

Unbreak net/cflowd by adding "using namespace std" to several places
in the code.

Informed maintainer.

add more patches for net/cflowd but still not working properly under
-current / gcc 3.2.1.

Maybe somebody with more C++ knowledge can have a look at the current
errors it is stuck with?

Move inclusion of bsd.port.pre.mk later in the file for conditional BROKEN
tag. Early inclusion caused problems for some ports, so to be safe I'm
updating all of them.

Add a start stop script to the port which starts up services delayed so that
every service has a chance to come up properly before the next one begins
Additionally provide graceful delayed shutdown of services by using killall
-15. Install startup script as .sample file, since cflowd (and flowscan) are
not easy ports. You should read the docu properly.
