This is a collection of ATM fonts from the CICA Windows
archives. They are particularly useful with gimp.
Some of these fonts are shareware, and some have restrictions on
redistribution. Please consult the accompanying .license files
after installation.

You'll have to add /usr/local/share/fonts/freefonts
to your X font path by either:
$ xset fp+ /usr/local/share/fonts/freefonts
$ xset fp rehash
or by adding it to your X-server configuration file and
restarting the X-server.

x11-fonts/freefont: Do not package fonts.{dir,scale}
They are generated by USES=font post-install. Packaging them just
leads to checksum errors:

Make fonts repecting XDG
Xorg is now looking in ${LOCALBASE}/share/fonts by default
Xorg now accepts symlinks in etc/X11/fontpath.d (as decribed in Xserver(1))
Large cleanup on lots of font ports
All fonts are now properly dynamically generating fonts.dir and fonts.scale
instead of sometime overwriting existing ones)
All fonts are generating fontconfig's cache
Improve consistency in fonts ports
1) Move install code to Makefile rather than in patch.
2) Use type1inst to generale fonts.scale, and remove another patch.

Change PKGDIR from pkg/ to . Also fix places where ${PKGDIR} is spelled out
(many of which are ${PKGDIR}/MESSAGE -> ${PKGMESSAGE} type fixes that
shouldn't have been necessary) and the string "/pkg/" appear.
