bvwmB? Virtual Window Manager (fvwm3 fork)
1.1.5.b.6x11-wmΣ=0 Package not present on quarterly. This port was created during this quarter. It will be in the next quarterly branch but not the current one.
BVWM (B? Virtual Window Manager) is a fork of fvwm3 with core window-manager
enhancements (ButtonStyle hover states and TitleStyle ButtonWidth). This port
ships a self-contained, coinstallable tree: bin/bvwm, modules under
libexec/bvwm/, share/bvwm, prefixed helpers (bvwm-root, ...), and prefixed man
pages (bvwm.1, bvwm-FvwmAnimate.1, ...).
Configs keep the Fvwm module vocabulary (Module FvwmButtons, and so on). BVWM
defaults to ~/.bvwm and .bvwmrc so stock fvwm3 configs are not asked to parse
BVWM-only decor syntax. PATH tools and man pages use a bvwm- prefix so this
port coinstalls with x11-wm/fvwm3.

x11-wm/bvwm: New port
BVWM is a fork of fvwm3: still a floating window manager, and now able
to work as a hybridized tiling manager.
Enhancements summarized below:
fvwm-tile is new to BVWM; helper making the hybrid possible: floating
windows, tiled windows, or a mix of the two. The fvwm- prefix is there
because it is fully backward compatible and can be lifted into fvwm.
ButtonStyle hover is a new config directive offering UX improvement.
TitleStyle ButtonWidth is a usability and accessibility improvement,
supporting non-square window decor buttons so the decor is tap-
