x11/shikane: add new port
A dynamic output configuration tool that automatically detects and configures
connected outputs based on a set of profiles.
Each profile specifies a set of outputs with additional parameters (e.g., mode).
A profile will be applied automatically if all specified outputs and modes can
be perfectly matched to the currently connected outputs and their capabilities.
This is a Wayland equivalent for tools like autorandr.
It aims to fully replace kanshi and add new features.
shikane works with Wayland compositors supporting version 3 of the
wlr-output-management protocol (e.g., compositors using wlroots v0.16).

x11/habak: New port: Background changing app
habak is a background changing app.
habak uses layered model. Lowermost layer is just black screen. You
can put other objects on it and these objects are called habaks.
There are three kinds of habaks: graphic files (images), texts and
"internal objects". Final background image consists of one or more
habaks positioned on the black screen. The order of habaks in the
command line is also the order of displaying them on screen. So
last habak would be drawn on the top of previous.

x11/cde-devel: Introduce x11/cde-devel
The x11/cde-devel port will track the CDE master development branch.
The cdesktopenv-code git repo on sourceforge is mirrored using my github
account and FreeBSD ports plumbing is used to fetch tarballs from github.
This port uses the x11/cde-25 port/pkg coexistence methodology to allow
it to be installed while a more stable version of x11/cde* is installed,
allowing users to safely use the port with a quick fallback should the
upstream software significanly break.
Users should ensure that their ~/.dt is backed up prior to switching
from a stable version of x11/cde* to x11/cde-devel or back again.

In preparation of the introduction of CDE 2.5.0 to the ports tree,

issues which negatively affects legacy Xm and Xaw apps.

x11/cde-25: Introduce the new x11/cde-25
CDE 2.5.0 has many improvements however some users may discover that

default cde however users can install cde-25 for new features and
bugfixes.

x11/nwg-look: add new port
Nwg-look is a GTK3 settings editor, designed to work properly in
wlroots-based Wayland environment. The look and feel is strongly
influenced by LXAppearance, but nwg-look is intended to free the user
from a few inconveniences:
- It works natively on Wayland. You no longer need Xwayland, nor
strange env variables for it to run.
- It applies gsettings directly, with no need to use workarounds. You
don't need to set gsettings in the sway config file. You don't need
the "import-gsettings" script.

x11/wayout: add new port
Wayout takes text from standard input and outputs it to a desktop-widget

input or any other delimiter of choice. We call this a feed. The desktop
widget can be shown either on top (OSD-like functionality) or below other
windows.
A Wayland compositor must implement the Layer-Shell and XDG-Output for wayout
to work.
Features:
- Allow updating from standard input at a regular interval; custom delimiters
- Configurable colours/border/position/fonts
- Supports the pango markup language for text markup/colours.

x11/gnome: Move from x11/gnome3
The reason for the move is because GNOME has moved beyond version 3,
bumping directly to 40 and iterating major release versions from there.
The Ports version of GNOME is currently at 41, making x11/gnome3
misnamed also.

PyQt: Update sip to 6.5.0, reintroduce sip4 and simplify PyQt framework.
SIP:
As mentioned in the update from sip to sip5, this is a transitional version
to remove what is deprecated in sip4.
Sip6 completely removes the deprecated parts.
Unfortunately, some ports — mostly cura things — can not use sip6, so we
reintroduce sip4.
PyQt:
At the same time, we took the opportunity to simplify PyQT and propose only one
package as for devel/pyside2. */py-qt5-* have been merged — excepted chart,
networkauth and webengine — into devel/py-qt5-pyqt.
This allows us to be in adequacy with the packages that the author of these
libraries proposes, namely:
PyQt - devel/py-qt5-pyqt
PyQt-Charts - x11-toolkits/py-qt5-chart
PyQt-NetworkAuth – net/py-qt5-networkauth
PyQt-WebEngine – www/py-qt5-webengine
SIP – devel/py-sip
py-sip - devel/py-qt5-sip
PyQt-builder - devel/py-qtbuilder
Qscintilla - devel/py-qt5-qscintilla2

x11/nwg-bar: add new port
nwg-bar is a Golang replacement to the nwgbar command (a part of
nwg-launchers), with some improvements. Aimed at sway, works with
wlroots-based compositors only.
The nwg-bar command creates a button bar on the basis of a JSON
template placed in the ~/.config/nwg-bar/ folder. By default the
command displays a horizontal bar in the center of the screen. Use
command line arguments to change the placement.

x11/swayr: add new port
Swayr consists of a demon, and a client. The demon swayrd records
window/workspace creations, deletions, and focus changes using sway's
JSON IPC interface. The client swayr offers subcommands, see swayr
--help, and sends them to the demon which executes them.
Right now, there are these subcommands:
* next-window focuses the next window in depth-first iteration order of the
tree.
* prev-window focuses the previous window in depth-first iteration order of
the tree.
* switch-window displays all windows in the order urgent first, then
last-recently-used, focused last and focuses the selected.
* quit-window displays all windows and quits the selected one.
* switch-to-urgent-or-lru-window switches to the next window with urgency
hint (if any) or to the last recently used window.
* switch-workspace displays all workspaces in LRU order and switches to the
selected one.
* switch-workspace-or-window displays all workspaces and their windows and
switches to the selected workspace or window.
* quit-workspace-or-window displays all workspaces and their windows and
allows to quit either the selected workspace (all its windows) or the
selected window.
* execute-swaymsg-command displays most swaymsg which don't require
additional input and executes the selected one. That's handy especially for
less often used commands not bound to a key.
* execute-swayr-command displays all commands above and executes the selected
one. (This is useful for accessing swayr commands which are not bound to a
key.)

x11/plasma5-plasma: Update KDE Plasma Desktop to 5.22
Plasma 5.22 is here, and it is more reliable and stable than ever. By
cleaning up and refactoring code in the background, the Plasma desktop
gives you greater responsiveness and performance, helping you become
even more productive without hiccups or surprises. Enjoy a smoother
experience with KDE’s Plasma 5.22 desktop.
Plasma 5.22 has become more pleasurable to use through improvements to
the design and greater smoothness and consistency in transparencies,
blurs, icons, and animations. Moving things to accessible locations,
offering hints and visual cues, and creating new settings allows you to
customize your work environment to make it fit perfectly to your needs.
Following the true KDE spirit, the push for a more stable and attractive
desktop does not mean you have to renounce control over how you want it
to look or behave. Plasma 5.22, as always, packs all the flexibility and
tools for customization you have come to expect and love, and some more
to boot.
Meanwhile, the push to move Plasma in its entirety to Wayland (the
display protocol of the future) continues in full swing. So much so that
popular distros are starting to ship Plasma with Wayland by default. By
using Wayland behind the scenes, Plasma is able to include features and
bug fixes not possible to implement on X11, offering you a better
experience and more stability.
