Update to 5.12, very minor changes to 2 screensavers

Bounce PORTREVISION for gettext-related ports.  Have fun, ya'll.

Distfile was silently re-rolled to include the po/ directory, and
include it in SUBDIRS. This makes USE_GETTEXT required as well,
so bump PORTREVISION.

By now the distinction between various flavors of the xscreensaver
port is clear, so the pre-fetch message has lost its utility.

Update to version 2.10 which includes the following:

* Retired hypercube and hyperball, which are redundant with polytopes.
* New hack, rubikblocks.
* Fixed another potential RANDR crash.
* molecule now correctly displays PDB 3.2 files.
* Updates to mirrorblob, glhanoi, and sonar.
* Rewritten version of klein hack.
* New hack, surfaces, incorporating objects from old klein hack, plus new ones.
* Merged juggle and juggler3d hacks.
* Fixed compilation under gcc 4.4.0 (strict aliasing).
* Fixed intermittent failure in xscreensaver-command.

Fix a few common typos in pkg-descr ("separate", "compatible").

Remove support for electricsheep as a screensaver, the project has been
having "issues" for a long time now.

Where it matters, update regarding MAKE_JOBS_{UN}SAFE for my ports

Upgrade to version 5.08. One new screensaver (hack), tweaks to a few
others, and the removal of 18 of the "older, less interesting savers."

Users may wish to mv their ~/.xscreensaver file to a safe place and restart
the program to get a clean config file.

At one time pam was cut out unconditionally, but now it's only cut out
when the user does not have the OPTION ticked. So remove the part of this
patch that cuts it out unconditionally in favor of the already-existing
sed option in the Makefile.

Update to version 5.07 which has several bug fixes and enhancements. It also
removes a couple screen savers, and support for 3rd party screen savers.
Support for the latter is added back to this port by permission.

Do something I should have done a long time ago, add OPTIONS to install the
various screen savers we have in ports that are supported by xscreensaver.

USE_DOS2UNIX is no longer needed.

In xscreensaver 5.07 the xml files for optional screen savers have been
removed. In order to continue supporting those screen savers that we have
in the ports tree I'm adding enhanced versions of the 5.06 xml files to
the port. (With permission)

Also add a patch to the default config file to:
1. Turn off display of screen savers that are not installed to avoid
confusion.
2. Add back support for those 3rd part screen savers we have in ports.
3. Remove a screen saver we're not building or installing.

Update to version 5.06, which contains one new hack, some new minor
features, and Xinerama/RANDR fixes.

Update to version 5.05, with the usual assortment of 2 new screensavers,
and a few bug fixes.

Comment out the fix for the no-pam case, to match the others.

Configure'ing --without-pam is not enough to prevent the pam.d
file from being installed, so take matters into our own hands.

Update to version 5.04, which contains the usual combination of
a few new screesavers and miscellaneous bug fixes.

For the port:
1. Update the CONFIGURE_ARGS for the new xorg and other options
2. Add an OPTION to add --with-kerberos
3. Add an OPTION for PAM support, and delete stuff that was designed
to disable PAM.
4. Related to above, add a policy file for PAM that is relevant to
FreeBSD, and simply copy that over the distribution's and allow the
normal install method to work.

Remove patches no longer relevant in version 5.04.

- Set --mandir and --infodir in CONFIGURE_ARGS if the configure script
  supports them.  This is determined by running ``configure --help'' in
  do-configure target and set the shell variable _LATE_CONFIGURE_ARGS
  which is then passed to CONFIGURE_ARGS.
- Remove --mandir and --infodir in ports' Makefile where applicable
  Few ports use REINPLACE_CMD to achieve the same effect, remove them too.
- Correct some manual pages location from PREFIX/man to MANPREFIX/man
- Define INFO_PATH where necessary
- Document that .info files are installed in a subdirectory relative to
  PREFIX/INFO_PATH and slightly change add-plist-info to use INFO_PATH and
  subdirectory detection.

Forced commit to note that the last commit included a switch to
@dirrmtry for the config directories since some other ports (most
notably x11/fireflies) also install config files there.

Update to 5.03, with a few bug fixes (bsod, PAM USB-dongle auth, track
recent Google Images and Flickr changes) and 4 new screensavers.

Argh. Forced commit to note that the previous commit also removed the
last vestiges of X11BASE in favor of LOCALBASE.

has some performance improvements, and new xml config panels for
some of the third party programs that can be used as hacks.

Upgrade to 4.23, which contains the usual round of bugfixes, and a few
new screensaver programs. Also, this version removes one screensaver
program, "it's boring."

Update a hardcoded /usr/X11R6 in configure [1]

Remove some code added in this version to driver/timers.c that causes
problems for me, and reportedly for other FreeBSD users. After discussion
with Jamie, he will likely remove or comment out this code in the next
release, so use sed to delete the lines rather than add a short-lived patch.

For the ports that I maintain, do the following as appropriate:

1. Add myself as a backup master site (Sourceforge and CPAN ports
already have good enough coverage, so skip them).
2. For all ports that have them, download the PGP signature files.
3. For ports in 2, add a verify target to the Makefile
4. For ports where I was already providing a master site, update the URL.
5. Pet portlint in a couple of places.

Re-add this patch that is needed for 4.22. I am seeing weird behavior
with 4.23, and therefore plan to delay the upgrade till I'm sure it's ok.

As several folks have pointed out, this version of the gdk_pixbuf
library is gtk1-centric, and gtk2 has the functionality already.

Upgrade to the latest, version 4.21, with associated tweaks to the
patches and pkg-plist. This version has numerous bugs fixed, and
several new screensavers.

Add gdk_pixbuf as a dependency. It's a small library, and adds
additional features to the image-grabbing screensavers.

Add glade2 as required by the latest versions. The delay in upgrading
was due to the large number of dependencies that were formerly associated
with the glade2 port. The gnome team should be commended for reducing this
to a reasonable level.

Upgrade to version 4.18, the latest from the author (4.17 was a NOOP).

Two new screensaver programs, and the usual assortment of bug fixes
and improvements.

Upgrade to 4.16, the latest release. It contains 4 new screensavers,
and the usual round of small improvements to others.

Borrow two patches from the gnome port to make these hacks compile on -current

This patch is no longer needed for 4.16

Un-fuzz for 4.15.

Upgrade to 4.15, which contains the usual assortment of minor bug fixes
and new screensavers.

Move xml dependency to libxml2

Borrow a bit from the -gnome version of the port that's supposed to
help compilation on amd64.

Bump PORTREVISION on all ports that depend on gettext to aid with upgrading.

neat toys (like quad). This version has no new hacks, but does have a
new script called ljlatest for use with phosphor and star wars.

A hopefully temporary patch to isolate a gtk2-only function. The only
loss of functionality is the -geometry flag to xscreensaver-demo.

Upgrade to version 4.12, which contains several new hacks, and updates
to several of the existing ones.

Add a knob to install the ping program setuid so it can ping your network.

Remove some now-redundant patching.

Regenerate a couple of patches.

Upgrade to 4.10, the latest version. The usual few new hacks and bugfixes.

Add a sed line to Makefile that removes some ^M's that give gcc grief

Finish restoring this port to it's previous state

Take the unfortunate step of removing gnome support. The gnome team
already has xscreensaver-gnome to work with, and I think they'll
do a great job with it. This is not a rash decision. I've discussed
the issue several times with the gnome team, and suffice it to say
that we have different ideas about how things should look. I've also
sent an e-mail directly to them describing the reasoning for my
decision in more detail.

Since I'm here, make not wanting Kerberos explicit. Several users
who've had various bits and pieces of Kerberos left behind after
trying to remove it have reported that the configure script is
a little overzealous about finding those bits, and we end up
with either a failed build, or a less than completely successful
binary. If this becomes a problem we can revisit it.

Put flameproof asbestos on and commit diversification of xscreensaver
and xscreensaver-gnome, so that GNOME components now is fully independent
from the main xscreensaver port. Unfortunately all numerous attempts of
GNOME team to put xscreensaver's maintainer into a co-operative mode
failed, so that this commit goes in unreviewed. In addition, prevent
xscreensaver from detecting gtk/glib/libxml-2.0 when it is not asked
for, remove stale warning, use USE_GNOMENG and detect/use libintl
properly. This expected to significantly decrease number of "xscreensaver
doesn't work with GNOME" complains in freebsd-gnome mailing list.

* Fix a braino with the dialog command line
* Update the warning message to encourage users
to upgrade their glib12 and gtk12 ports so that
their pkg-config files will be fixed.

* Add a feature I have used locally for a while, namely the ability to
tell configure that you want something other than zippy for fortunes.
* Change the method of displaying the warning message to one that is
friendlier to displaying multi-line instructions.
* Conditionally include webcollage-helper in the PLIST depending on
whether it was built by xscreensaver or not (which in turn depends
on the existence of gdk-pixbuf).

Update to 4.05, which has a much better configure script, one new
hack, and some new icons. There is still a conflict with the
definitions produced by pkg-config however, so add a warning
message to that effect.

Upgrade to version 4.04.2, and clean up the port while I'm at it.

Silence a spurious warning caused by an attempt to check if
an rpm of xscreensaver is already installed on a linux system.
This is a no-op for us, but users have complained about the warning.

Make it easier to find libjpeg in non-standard installs.

Missed this in the last commit. This patch is no longer needed.    

Update to 4.01, which has several new screensavers, and the usual   assortment
of bugs fixed. The author has incorporated several of   our patches, so I can
reduce or eliminate them. However, I had   to add one small patch to get
-lcompat into one of the new   screensavers.    

Do it properly, and as mentioned on gnome@ (hint, the config files   move
between GNOME and non-GNOME too)
