audio/ardour: Update to 7.2.0 release, replace audio/ardour6
- Submitter becomes maintainer
This patch provides an update to Ardour 7.1.0, thereby replacing Ardour
6.9.0 in audio/ardour6 and moving the port to audio/ardour. There's no
reason to keep the major version in the portname, we only had one version
for quite some time.
The patch also incorporates bug #267065, relaxing the version requirement
on the python build dependency.
Some notes about the changes I made:
Issue 1 - Official download is now tailored to browsers only, that's why
the distfile is named "510". Put it in a named and versioned subdirectory
to not mess up the distfiles directory. I didn't find a better download
alternative. Github is not an option, because the download there is
deliberately made empty (sic).
Issue 2 - Even though I followed the advice in the porters handbook to
the best of my knowledge, portlint warns about the use of DISTFILES and
DISTNAME. The problem is the odd distfile name (Issue 1) combined with
non-matching extraction path and portname. If I follow the suggestions of
portlint, I have to define WRKSRC above the license block which portlint
doesn't like either.
Issue 3 - Ardour includes its major version (e.g. "ardour7") in many
pkg-plist paths. I factored these out into a substitution variable named
ARDOUR_MAJOR, to ease future updates to the port. Some of these
substitutions came through the portname previously.

audio/mousai-devel: add new port
Discover songs you are aching to know with an easy-to-use interface.
Mousai is a simple application that can identify songs similar to Shazam. Just
click the listen button, and then wait a few seconds. It will magically return
the title and artist of that song!
Note: This uses the API of audd.io, so it is necessary to log in to their site
to get more trials.
Why you will love Mousai?
* Identify the title and artist of the song within seconds.
* Use your microphone or audio from desktop.
* Store the identified song including the album art in history.
* Preview the identified song with the native player.
* Browse and listen the song from different providers.
* Easy-to-use user interface.
* User-friendly keyboard shortcuts.

audio/rsgain: New port
rsgain (really simple gain) is a ReplayGain 2.0 tagging utility for
Windows, macOS, and Linux. rsgain applies loudness metadata tags
to your files, while leaving the audio stream untouched. A
ReplayGain-compatible player will dynamically adjust the volume of
your tagged files during playback.
rsgain is designed with a "batteries included" philosophy, allowing
a user to scan their entire music library without requiring external
scripts or other tools. It aims to strike the perfect balance between
power and simplicity by providing multiple user interfaces.

audio/sdl_audiolib: add port: Audio decoding, resampling and mixing library for
SDL
This is a small and simple to use C++ library for playing various
audio formats. It is a thin (-ish) wrapper around existing resampling
(like SRC or SoX) and decoding libraries (like libmpg123 or libvorbis.)
It was written as a replacement for SDL_mixer, due to SDL_mixer's
lack of multiple music streams, limited audio format support and
poor resampling quality.

audio/sdl2_sound: add port: Abstract SDL soundfile decoder
- Add the latest version of sdl_sound with support for
USE_SDL=sound2.
- Note that this is sdl2-only library, so audio/sdl_sound,
which is sdl1-only library, remains in the tree and is
not affected. I've had to rename playsound binary this
port also installs to avoid the conflict.
- The library now contains all the decoder code, so no external
depends and options are needed any longer. I've added MIDI
option though, since upstream has it disabled by default due
to different license.

audio/portmidi: New port: Library for real time MIDI input and output
PortMIDI is a cross platform (Windows, macOS, Linux, and BSDs which support
alsalib) library for interfacing with operating systems' MIDI I/O APIs. It was
started by Ross Bencina and Phil Burk, then maintained by Roger B. Dannenberg,
and now maintained by the Mixxx DJ Software team.

audio/libkeyfinder: New port: Musical key detection for digital audio
libkeyfinder is a small C++11 library for estimating the musical key of digital
audio. It is published under the GNU General Public License version 3 or later.
It was written by Ibrahim Shaath who wrote it in 2011 as part of a master's
thesis in computer science. A GUI application to use it is available for macOS
and Windows, however that is no longer maintained and does not build on
contemporary Linux distributions.
In 2020, Ibrahim handed over maintenance of libkeyfinder to the Mixxx DJ
software team who incorporated it into Mixxx as of Mixxx 2.3. If you want to
discuss anything related to libkeyfinder with us, please get in touch on the
Mixxx Zulip chat. Contributions are welcome by opening pull requests and issues
on GitHub.
