VS Code is a type of tool that combines the simplicity of a code
editor with what developers need for their core edit-build-debug
cycle. It provides comprehensive editing and debugging support, an
extensibility model, and lightweight integration with existing tools.
Remote development over ssh:
If you want to use remote development over ssh, install "Open Remote -
SSH" extension.
It can be installed from the Extensions view in code-oss[1].
Alternatively, you can download the extension from the Open VSX
Registry[2].
After installation of the extension, restart code-oss and it should
work out of the box. Please note that the remote extension host will
be downloaded from the following URL[3] to the remote host upon first
connection from the local host.
Supported combination of local and remote hosts is as follows:

The remote extension host is actually a Node.js-based server and make
it sure that you have dependency packages installed when the remote
host is FreeBSD.
You can check which packages are necessary on the remote host at
FreshPorts[4]. (Install library and runtime dependencies) In addition,
you have to install misc/compat14x package if the remote host is
FreeBSD 15 or later. The remote extension host has been built on
FreeBSD 14 for compatibility reasons.

devel/electron13: fix ENOTTY error on uv_pipe_open
This patch was introduced for electron11 and slipped out when creating
ports for electron 12 and 13.
editors/vscode: update to 1.62.3
While here, temporarily mark as BROKEN on FreeBSD 12. One of the
native node modules does not compile with the following error:

Refresh the bundled version of devel/electron12, compatible with
harfbuzz-2.9.0, harfbuzz-2.9.1 and harfbuzz-3.0.0.

Mark ports recursively depending on Python 2.7 for expiration on June 23.
For ports optionally dependending on Python 2.7, just mark those options
as expired. Remove konquerer from the x11/kde-baseapps metaport and bump
its PORTREVISION.

editors/vscode: Resolve dependency confliction on node10 and 12
vscode has direct build dependency on npm-node10. And also has build dependency
on devel/electron7. devel/electron7 depends on npm-node12. As a result,
editors/vscode has dependency on both npm-node10 and npm-node12 however they
conflicts each other. This confliction of dependency prevent this port building.

Add vscode to the portstree. the popular editor developed by Microsoft and
based on Electron.
