Fix Qt5 symbol version scripts to put the catch-all clause first. When
a symbol matches multiple clauses the last one takes precedence. If the
catch-all is last it captures everything. In the case of Qt5 libraries
this caused all symbols to have a Qt_5 label while some should have
Qt_5_PRIVATE_API. This only affects lld because GNU ld always gives the
catch-all lowest priority.
Older versions of Qt5Webengine exported some memory allocation symbols from
the bundled Chromium. Version 5.9 stopped exporting these [1] but the
symbols were kept as weak wrappers for the standard allocation functions to
maintain binary compatibility. [2][3] The problem is that the call to the
standard function in these weak wrappers is only resolved to the standard
function if there's a call to this standard function in other parts of
Qt5Webengine, because only then is there a non-weak symbol that takes
precedence over the weak one. If there's no such non-weak symbol the call (Only the first 15 lines of the commit message are shown above ) |

Change cmake default behaviour to outsource.
Ports that build out of source now simply can use "USES=cmake"
instead of "USES=cmake:outsource". Ports that fail to build
out of source now need to specify "USES=cmake:insource".
I tried to only set insource where explictely needed.

Bump PORTREVISION for ports depending on the canonical version of GCC
defined via Mk/bsd.default-versions.mk which has moved from GCC 7.4 t
GCC 8.2 under most circumstances.
This includes ports
- with USE_GCC=yes or USE_GCC=any,
- with USES=fortran,
- using Mk/bsd.octave.mk which in turn features USES=fortran, and
- with USES=compiler specifying openmp, nestedfct, c11, c++0x, c++11-lang,
c++11-lib, c++14-lang, c++17-lang, or gcc-c++11-lib
plus, as a double check, everything INDEX-11 showed depending on lang/gcc7.

Switch to xorgproto instead of individual packages
Upstream used to distribute protocol headers as separate packages, but has
decided to merge those to a common package, named xorgproto. This update
tracks that change.
* Add a new port, x11/xorgproto, with are protocol headers for xorg.
* Hook the new protocol port to the build and to infrastructure in
bsd.xorg.mk.
* Update all ports with a dependency on any of the old *proto packages to

* Add USES=localbase
* Change USE_QT4 to USE_QT5 with corresponding changes to values
* Remove INSTALLS_ICONS (not needed)
* Remove many SHEBANG_FILES (not needed)
* Update LIB_DEPENDS for libOSMesa.so
Due to a strange upstream change that made it to install libprotobuf.so
into lib, paraview now conflicts with a lot of other ports like firefox,
chrome and tox.

Convert Python ports to FLAVORS.
Ports using USE_PYTHON=distutils are now flavored. They will
automatically get flavors (py27, py34, py35, py36) depending on what

There is also a USE_PYTHON=flavors for ports that do not use distutils

using distutils but flavors are not wanted.
A new USE_PYTHON=optsuffix that will add PYTHON_PKGNAMESUFFIX has been

Make ninja opt-out in cmake.mk
Using ninja instead of make (1) can lead to significant speed ups while
building.
Therefore switch from having the ninja generator opt-in to having it opt-out.
Previously cmake-ports that wanted to use ninja could set
CMAKE_NINJA=yes
now, ports that do not work with ninja can set
cmake:<existing args>,noninja
Note, that needing this should be an exception and most often points to a broken
cmake of the port.
The ports using cmake were modified
* removed USES=gmake, if ninja is used
* removed MAKE_ARGS, if ninja is used
* added the cmake-argument noninja if necessary

science/paraview: No, it's still broken
A while back, the happily building paraview stopped building because
libGL was updated. The other ports that suffered breakage for the same
reasons were updated to the latest API. Paraviews libGL callouts were
never fixed, so this port never should not have had it's BROKEN definition
removed as it was not fixed despite the claim. It's still breaking on all
platforms including DragonFly on clang, gcc47 and gcc50. Errors from
FreeBSD look like:

NEW XORG ON FREEBSD 9-STABLE AND 10-STABLE
This update switches over to use the new xorg stack by default on FreeBSD 9
and 10 stable, on osversions where vt(9) is available.
It is still possible to use the old stack by specifying WITHOUT_NEW_XORG in
/etc/make.conf .
FreeBSD 8-STABLE and released versions of FreeBSD still use
the old version.
A package repository with binary packages for new xorg will
be available soon.

[1] Update to 2.4.2
[2] Install shared libraries and some cmake files so ports depending on paraview
can build.
Not very tested, because it crashes my X Server (oops), though I suspect the
previous version would have as well if I'd pre-tested.
